A great new sewing book!
So about a month ago, a new sewing book called The Colette Sewing Handbook came out. I got it on pre-order and waited for it to come nearly every day! When it finally came, it was great! Well I wouldn’t know since I haven’t read it all yet, but it comes with five patterns and some great tips and tricks for the modern sewer. The book has some great pictures and has a very “new” look to it. I’ve already made the Meringue skirt which turned out looking pretty good. You should definitely buy this book. Trust me, even though I haven’t finished it, I can tell that any beginner/intermediate in sewing will love this book!

You’re getting warmer…

Crafting/DIYing
So today I made a little something to decorate my walls. It’s this great idea I got that you can see from my last post and all you need is a needlepoint/embroidery frame and a piece of fabric from scraps! And today, I added the straps to my doily stenciled canvas bag!
